Benefits of grass fed beef

When I was a child, everyone was talking about ‘corn-fed’ beef, like this was some moniker of quality. Cattle cannot easily digest corn, even with two stomachs. This beef is grass fed, without anti-biotics and without hormones, which is better for you in terms of flavor and quality. Cattle digest grass far better than corn. Anti-biotics and hormones introduced into the cattle suggests a lesser quality meat…meat that was rushed to maturity and would have maximum muscle mass. Hormones are used to enhance growth, and anti-biotics are a sign of poor hygiene or sickness and are not good to consume either, as it may signal resistant anti-biotic bacteria in your food. ‘Angus’ is often confused with quality, when it only refers to the breed of Aberdeen cattle, originally from Scotland, which is a stockier and healthier breed. There is no USDA rating on this meat, but it’s has a more refined flavor, and tastes better than other meats. The fact that it is Halal means the animal was slaughtered correctly, individually, and with a minimum of stress to the animal, so fewer stress hormones and lower adrenaline. People who eat fast food regularly are usually irritable and often openly hostile…this is because of the adrenaline and stress hormones they consume in their meat. An animal that is raised in an open range and in limited stressful situations produces less of these stress hormones…hence, less stress and anxiety for those who consume the meat. The old adage ‘you are what you eat’ is relevant here. Eat better quality beef and feel less anxious and less irritable. I’ve known a person who began eating Halal meat about five years ago, and they have remarked on how seldom they have been stressed out and more easy-going since that time. It takes a while to get these hormones out of your body, but in a fairly short period of time, you should be feeling better and more stress free…while enjoying this Angus beef.

Great balance of flavor with 0% guilt

I've been enjoying this beef with the peace of mind that I'm providing my family the best possible food for their dunya & akhira. One pack makes 4-6 burger patties which is enough for our small family for one meal (and some leftovers for the next day also.))

Too chewy

Difficult to eat at times because it was so chewy. Perhaps the batch had more extras than usual. Still, excellent flavor.

Minced meat was really good

NO gristle! All goodness!

Ever since I was a child, I hated ground meat because of the gristle in it. Finally, I found one without that "extra" that comes even in the lean beef cuts. I also like the fact that it has no antibiotics and hormones and is raised in a pasture. Thank you for giving us this meat here in USA!
