Lamb Steak with Charred Peppers and Thyme Butter

Ingredients
2 Tablespoons lemon juice
1 Teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
1 Tablespoon olive oil
1 Teaspoon chopped garlic
1/2 Teaspoon black pepper
1/2 Teaspoon chilli flakes
1/2 Teaspoon lemon pepper
1/2 Teaspoon dried thyme
Salt according to taste
4 Tablespoons softened salted butter
1 Teaspoon dried/fresh thyme
1/2 Teaspoon lemon zest
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
2 cups sliced colorful peppers
1 Tablespoon olive oil
1/2 Teaspoon dried thyme
Salt to taste
for Lamb:
For Thyme Butter:
For Charred Peppers:
Directions
For Lamb:
Marinate for at least 30 minutes. Heat a cast iron pan on a medium high flame. Lightly oil the pan and cook the steak on both sides for 4-5 minutes. (Cook for 3 minutes on each side for medium rare) Rest the steak a few minutes before cutting. Serve with a dollop of thyme butter and charred peppers on the side.
For Thyme Butter:
Mix together and refrigerate until ready to use.
For Charred Peppers:
Heat a pan. Add the olive oil and sliced peppers. Cook on a medium high heat, stirring occasionally, until the peppers start to char. Then add the thyme and salt. Cook for one more minute and serve with Lamb Steak.
