Mediterranean Pizza

Sometimes a light meal is all you need. These simple and oh so pretty Mediterranean pizzas are perfect for a no-fuss quick dinner, or a great way to use up some leftover ingredients you have in the fridge for a quick breakfast. You can use the recipe below, but feel free to add different greens, herbs and other toppings. The nice thing is you can go as simple or as fancy as you’d like!  


  • ¼ pound Crescent Foods Ground Beef
  • 1 tsp garlic 
  • 1 tsp ginger 
  • ½ tsp chili powder 
  • ½ tsp turmeric 
  • ¼ tsp sumac 
  • Salt and pepper to taste 
  • 2 large pitas 
  • 1 cup hummus 
  • ½ cup sprouts 
  • 3 medium radishes thinly sliced 
  • 1 tbsp mint thinly sliced 
  • 1 tbsp parsley thinly sliced 
  • ½ tsp paprika 


        • Heat a large skillet and brown meat, add in garlic, ginger, chili powder, turmeric, sumac, salt and pepper. Mix well till meat is cooked through. Set aside 
        • Spread Hummus over the pitas, top with cooked ground beef, sprouts, radish, mint and parsley. Sprinkle with paprika.  
        • Cut into quarters and enjoy!
