Garlic Knot Caprese Burgers

Ingredients

For the Garlic Knots

  • 20 ounces store-bought pizza dough
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons fresh minced parsley
  • Kosher salt 

Method

For the Burger

  • Grill beef burgers over medium-high heat until cooked to desired doneness.
  • Slice garlic knots in half and top with cooked beef burger, tomato slice, fresh mozzarella, and pesto sauce. Devour immediately!

For the Garlic Knots 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F. Divide dough into four equal pieces and roll into “sticks”. Twist and tie the dough into large knots and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for about 20 minutes, until golden brown and just cooked through.
  • Meanwhile, combine garlic, butter, and olive oil in a small microwave-safe bowl. Microwave until butter is just melted through, about 30 seconds. Stir in parsley and season generously with Kosher salt.
  • Brush knots generously all over with the garlic butter mixture.
